Forrest visits Liverpool FC Academy

International Futsal Academy Performance Co-Ordinator and Head of Development, Marc Forrest, has just completed a short time at Liverpool FC Academy with the Under 21 Squad.

The visit to one of the leading and most successful professional football academies in the country included observing training sessions, attending training sessions with numerous age group teams within the Academy, discussions with staff, match day and involved in the day to day routines.

“I am very grateful for my time at Liverpool FC with the Under 21 Squad. The Club do fantastic work, all the staff are open, forward thinking and hardworking people as well as great professionals. I am thankful to Michael (Beale) and Alex (Inglesthorpe) for giving me the opportunity, it was also a pleasure to speak with Pep (Ljinders) and everyone that invested their time and allowed me to understand first hand the philosophy, principles and the methods used to develop and support the players within the Academy. I am delighted to have been invited back and looking forward to returning in the New Year” said Forrest.

Marc has been an England Futsal Under 19 Coach since 2013 and has held the role of Assistant Coach at Loughborough Futsal Club to England Futsal Senior Assistant Coach, Michael Skubala.
