FA FUTSAL GRAND FINALS AT ST GEORGE’S PARK

The International Futsal Academy enjoyed a fantastic day on Sunday at the FA National Grand Finals event at St George’s Park, the finale event of the England Futsal 2014/2015 season.

Players from the International Futsal Academy played in a Champions exhibition fixture against FS Derby following being crowned National League 2 Champions for their divisions. Loughborough United players were also presented with their league winner medals and trophy following the fixture.

Players from the International Futsal Academy Youth Development Centres were present enjoying a tour of the Football Assocation Headquarters, meeting and collecting autographs from the senior players and staff plus given the opportunity to act as mascots for the Champions fixture.

Goalkeeper, Mark Croft, represented both the England Under 19 North Squad and the International Futsal Academy in front of a sold out crowd including members of the England Senior coaching staff ahead of his first Senior camp next week in Hereford.

International Futsal Academy staff, Marc Forrest and James Barlow were present helping to lead the England Under 19 North Squad to a 3-2 victory over a strong South squad. The North v South fixtures provided an opportunity for the most talented players aged 16-19 in England to perform and develop.
